Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup vegan butter, softened
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 175F 350C
Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl with a whisk
Softened vegan butter, brown sugar, and white sugar should be mixed together in a different bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy
Mix the applesauce and vanilla extract into the butter mixture by beating it in well
Slowly add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix them together until they are just barely combined
Add vegan chocolate chips and mix well
Using a small cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough by the tablespoonful onto a baking sheet that has been lined
Put it in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown
Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way
