Key Lime Cake Pops

These Key Lime Cake Pops are a delightful blend of citrusy key lime flavor and sweet cake, coated in creamy white chocolate. Perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of white cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup key lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon key lime zest
  • 1 cup cream cheese frosting
  • 12 ounces white chocolate, melted
  • Green food coloring optional
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions:

Grease a cake pan and preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 175 degrees Celsius

Cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, water, key lime zest, and key lime juice should all be combined in a big bowl

Blend until thoroughly blended

After filling the cake pan with batter, bake it as directed on the package

In a large bowl, crumble the cake into fine crumbs after it has cooled and baked

To the crumbled cake, add the cream cheese frosting and stir until a dough forms

Form the cake mixture into tiny balls and arrange them on a baking sheet that has been lined

After inserting lollipops into each cake ball, freeze for fifteen to twenty minutes

In a heat-resistant bowl, melt the white chocolate

If desired, add green food coloring

Make sure every cake pop is completely covered by dipping it into the melted chocolate

Let the dripping chocolate fall off

Reposition the cake pops onto the baking sheet to allow the chocolate to solidify

Your Key Lime Cake Pops are ready to eat once the chocolate has solidified
