This warm and hearty chicken pie is a classic dish that's great for a cozy dinner. It has a flaky pie crust and is filled with soft chicken, mixed vegetables, and a creamy sauce.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 can 10
- 5 ounces condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package 14 ounces refrigerated pie crusts
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 190C 375F
Put cooked chicken, mixed vegetables, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, dried thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl
Combine well
Put one pie crust around the edges of a 9-inch pie dish
Fill the crust with the chicken mix
Put the second pie crust on top
Crimp and seal the edges
Make holes in the top crust so that the steam can escape
After the oven is hot, bake the pie for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly
Before you serve it, let it cool down for a while
